Welcome to Bay Class!
We have an exciting term ahead, filled with lots of fun, learning and new experiences. This term, we will be making a splash as we develop our swimming and water safety skills, building confidence and learning how to stay safe in the water. In English, we will be exploring Brazil, discovering its culture, celebrations and colourful traditions. In Maths, we will be solving real-life problems involving fractions and length, helping us to understand how we use these skills in everyday life. In PSHE, we will be developing our self-awareness and learning more about our feelings, strengths, likes and needs. In Art, we will be getting creative by making carnival masks and colourful collages inspired by Brazil. We will also continue with our child-led communication sessions, giving everyone plenty of opportunities to communicate, follow their interests and have fun. Our Weekend News sessions will continue too, where we enjoy talking about what we have been doing at home. Please keep sending in your photos so we can share and celebrate all the wonderful things the children have been getting up to.
