Welcome to Cedar class!
In our class there are 8 children who are in KS3/4 and five staff including four teaching assistants’: Tracey, Lucy, Hannah and Natalie who all do a fantastic job of supporting the children.
This Summer term we will be carrying on our ASDAN awards, there are three different types in our class. In the first half term we have lots of trips planned such as visiting Space and trampolining lessons as part of our ASDAN/PE.
The theme is celebrations around the world. In our history lessons we will be comparing photos of us at celebrations when we were younger and more recently.
Our English is based on the book 'Lets celebrate. Special days around the world.' We are exploring props associated with the story and matching key words and pictures from it.
Maths is focusing on money; we are practising identifying different types of coins and also counting coins.
Our science lessons will focus on light and exploring different light toys.
