Cedar 2026 - 2027
Ms Rachael Fogg
Welcome to Cedar classes page! In our class there are nine children in KS3 and four teaching assistants who support us. We are a very active class and enjoy going outside and having movement breaks.
Our topic for this half term is 'this is me'. In science we are going to be learning about our body, how it works and naming body parts through a sensory story and sensory play/ matching.
Our English is based on Eric Carle's book head to toe. We are enjoying exploring animal props and matching words and pictures or matching picture to picture.
The topic for maths is measure, we are currently learning about big and small, handling big and small objects and sorting them.
In PE we are learning how to follow rules to play boccia as part of a team.
Our topic this half term in geography is people and we are focusing on people who help us at school.
We enjoy having relaxation sessions and TACPAC which is massage using kitchen utensils to music. We have also started taking part in attention autism sessions and intensive interaction.
